Melanotan 2 (MT-II) is a synthetic cyclic peptide analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) investigated for its interactions with melanocortin receptor subtypes MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R signaling pathways.
